I'm actually thinking about putting this one in Modern Haiku's annual senryu contest, that's how much I like it.

I try to write about clarity
my husband starts snoring

some mornings 
even blue jays
know love songs

under the dinosaur bones
the first crocus!

nesting
in the willow catkins
the Full Sap Moon

the windchimes that rang all winter
sound sweeter now --
spring's first fine day

wren
on a wind-blown branch --
earliest spring

holding hard
to the silky edge of the blanket --
my daughter sleeping

....

more snow
buries the snowdrops

I like that first one but it needs a lot of work.  Too worked.  Think I'm okay about it not having a kigo (season word).   I like the hard/soft but maybe it's too explicit ....?
